Mincetur: Strategic Role of the Private Sector Positions Peru as a Regional Logistics Hub

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, José Reyes Llanos, met with DP World's General Manager, Marco Hernández, to address challenges in port infrastructure and Peru's logistics competitiveness. During the meeting at Mincetur, the minister highlighted DP World's strategic role in the South Pier of the Port of Callao and the country's consolidation as a regional logistics hub. Proposals were evaluated to optimize the appointment system, improve entry scheduling, and reduce congestion in Callao.
