DP World secures 50-year concession for two terminals in Fujairah
DP World has reached a preliminary agreement with the Fujairah Port Authority to operate two new terminals on the east coast of the United Arab Emirates for 50 years. The Al Rugaylat terminal will handle 2.5 million TEUs annually, 1.7 million tons of general cargo, and 190,000 CEUs, while Dibba will add 3.6 million tons of annual capacity. The project will increase DP World's total capacity in the UAE from 19.4 million to nearly 22 million TEUs.
