ADELTE's HYDRA passenger boarding bridge with a double boarding cabin entered service at Flynn Cruiseport Boston.
The bridge was fully assembled at the Port of Barcelona before being transported across the Atlantic and installed at the Boston cruise terminal during June. Four days ago, it handled its first passengers.
This is the second HYDRA passenger boarding bridge ADELTE has delivered to Massport's Flynn Cruiseport Boston.
ADELTE said the bridge was engineered to provide safe, efficient and weather-protected boarding while offering the operational flexibility required by today's modern cruise terminals. Its double boarding cabin helps accelerate the boarding and disembarkation process, improving operational efficiency and enhancing the overall passenger experience.
The delivery was made possible through the close collaboration of ADELTE's multidisciplinary teams with its global technical services specialists from Spain and the United States working together throughout the assembly, transportation, installation and commissioning phases.
