Tanker Security Team Repels Boat Approach with Warning Shots North of Socotra
The private security team of a tanker repelled with warning shots the approach of a small boat with five people on board, 98 nautical miles north of Socotra, a Yemeni archipelago in the Indian Ocean. According to UKMTO, the protection officer confirmed that warning shots were fired, forcing the boat to change course.
