OOCL Wisdom completes first green methanol bunkering at Qingdao

Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) announced the completion of the first green methanol bunkering aboard its methanol dual-fuel containership OOCL Wisdom at Qingdao Port in China on 3 July. The vessel took on 1,500 metric tonnes of green methanol before departing on its Asia–North Europe Loop 1 (LL1) Service. The OOCL Wisdom is a Hong Kong-flagged newbuild with a capacity of 24,168 TEU and is the first in a series of seven methanol dual-fuel vessels ordered by the company.
