Stars, Stripes, and Sizzle: Galley Wars Takes on the Great American Hot Dog this Memorial Day Weekend
LA Fleet Week's Galley Wars cooking competition returns for its tenth year this Memorial Day weekend, featuring two-person teams from the U.S. Navy, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, and Los Angeles Port Police competing to create the best hot dog dish. The grill-off takes place May 23 at noon on the Battleship IOWA's fantail, hosted by actor and chef D.B. Sweeney with special guest Rachel Pizzolato. The event is free and open to the public with limited seating on a first-come, first-served basis.
