New Port of Manzanillo: Asipona denies dredging in Cuyutlán
The National Port System Administration (Asipona) Manzanillo denied that dredging work is currently being carried out in the Cuyutlán Lagoon as part of the New Port of Manzanillo. The port authority assured that the machinery movements correspond exclusively to authorized cleaning and maintenance work on the access channel. Any work linked to the infrastructure will only begin when all corresponding environmental authorizations are in place, including the approval of the Regional Environmental Impact Statement (MIA-R).
