Peru participates in 104th IATTC meeting to strengthen tuna fishery

From August 24 to September 5, Peru will participate in the 104th Meeting of the Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission (IATTC) in Lisbon, Portugal. The delegation, led by Produce, will seek to obtain recognition for 5,851 cubic meters of pending carrying capacity and strengthen the competitiveness of the national tuna fleet. The Peruvian Sea Institute (IMARPE) will provide technical and scientific support to underpin the national position on the conservation and sustainable use of transzonal resources.
