Maersk revises Peak Season Surcharge for Far East-India trade

Maersk is revising the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for the scope: China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Philippines, Brunei, Hong Kong China, Taiwan China, Timor Leste to Visakhapatnam, IN, Kattupalli, IN & Nepal with effective date as on 26-Aug-26 and South Korea exports as on 29-Aug-26 until further notice.

The tariff amount is detailed as follows:

Non-SPOT booking – The above rate is retrieved based on Price Calculation Date (PCD). For non-FMC, PCD refers to the scheduled departure date of the first water leg at the time of booking confirmation for non-spot bookings. For FMC, PCD is last container gate-in date for non-spot bookings. PSS is not applicable on SPOT booking.

Pay term – The above charge is collected follow freight paid.
