Maersk updates Emergency Contingency Surcharge rates to Latin America
Maersk announced changes to Emergency Contingency Surcharges (ECS) on routes from Indian sub continent to West Coast Latin America effective 25-Jul-26 and 04-Aug-26. The surcharge increases apply to North West India and Pakistan, South & East India, and Bangladesh, Sri Lanka & Maldives corridors, with rates ranging from 2,650 to 4,550 depending on container type and destination.
