Maersk introduces cancellation and amendment fees for special cargo in South Asia
Maersk announced new cancellation and amendment fees for special cargo (OPEN TOP and FLAT RACK containers) in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal, effective 1st August 2026. Cancellation requests within 7 calendar days prior vessel ETD incur USD 200 per container, while amendments cost USD 100 per container. The fees apply regardless of container status.
