The new cruise ship of the TUI Cruises fleet and second vessel of the modern InTUItion class, the Mein Schiff Flow, arrived for the first time at the Port of Cagliari.
On the occasion of the ship's first call, the traditional ceremony was held, during which commemorative plaques were exchanged between Captain Jan Gustaf Rautwaara and Cagliari Cruise Port, symbolizing the official incorporation of the vessel into the list of calls at the Port of Cagliari.
This call marks the ship's debut in the cruise calendar of the Sardinian capital, confirming Cagliari's growing central role in Western Mediterranean itineraries.
The event was attended by local authorities, the port agent, the mooring crew, and representatives from the Municipality of Cagliari and the Port System Authority of the Sea of Sardinia, underscoring the collaboration between institutions and port operators to welcome international cruise lines.
With a capacity for approximately 4,000 passengers, the Mein Schiff Flow represents one of the latest innovations in the sector, designed with dual-fuel technology, including liquefied natural gas (LNG), to reduce its environmental impact and improve energy efficiency.
