Through a board agreement of the San Antonio Port Company, communicated to the Commission for the Financial Market, Fernando Gajardo was ratified as the general manager of the state-owned company, led by Antonio Núñez de Fonseca.
Gajardo, who was EPSA's operations and infrastructure manager, had to assume the interim general management role after Ramón Castañeda's resignation in March of this year.
"The company's Board of Directors, exercising the power contemplated in Article 37 of Law N°19,542, has appointed Mr. Fernando Alberto Gajardo Vásquez as General Manager, effective from this date, a position he had held on an interim basis since March 31, 2026," stated the San Antonio Port Company in a material event disclosure.
Gajardo, who is a civil engineer from the University of Concepción and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso, joined the state-owned port company in 1995.
