The Port of Guanta received the docking of the vessel BBC Rio, from Brazil, to carry out an operation to unload specialized supplies for the oil drilling sector.
The operational maneuvers took place at berth 5 of the maritime terminal in eastern Venezuela, where port personnel unloaded 271 pieces of general cargo corresponding to components and equipment with a net weight of 2,147.95 tons.
Additionally, the plan included the reception of a 40-foot container with a weight of 17.70 tons of supplies intended to strengthen the productive processes of the aforementioned industry.
In parallel, operational tasks were coordinated at the maritime facility's dock to attend to the vessel Ea Titicaca, successfully processing the unloading of 275 containers with varied merchandise and the export dispatch of 328 additional pieces of equipment.
"With the reception of this specialized cargo aboard the BBC Rio, Bolivariana de Puertos reaffirmed its operational capacity to meet the technical demands of the national oil industry," stated the state port authority.
