General Cargo Vessel Roseburg Refloated Off Nyborg, Denmark

The cargo vessel Roseburg successfully refloated after running aground off Nyborg, Denmark, while departing the port for Halmstad. No injuries or pollution were reported.

The vessel struck the rocky seabed and ran aground on 22 July. Following the incident, on 23 July, the tug Tybring was deployed to refloat the vessel.

The Danish authority positioned an environmental response vessel off Nyborg to monitor the operation and respond in the event of any pollution. The refloating operation was completed successfully, and Roseburg was towed to Nyborg, where it was safely moored for further inspection.

Roseburg is a 1991-built general cargo vessel sailing under the flag of Antigua and Barbuda. The vessel measures 82.04 meters in length and 12.57 meters in width.
