Diana Shipping Signs Time Charter Contract for Kamsarmax Bulker

Diana Shipping Inc. announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has signed a time charter contract with Aquavita International SA for one of its Kamsarmax bulk carriers, the m/v Medusa.

The gross charter rate is USD 16,850 per day, minus a 4.75% commission paid to third parties, for a period extending from a minimum of October 5, 2027, to a maximum of December 20, 2027. The charter is expected to commence on July 10, 2026.

The vessel Medusa is currently chartered to Cargill International SA, Geneva, at a gross charter rate of USD 13,000 per day, minus a 4.75% commission paid to third parties.

Diana Shipping expects the vessel's employment to generate approximately USD 7.5 million in total gross revenues during the minimum scheduled period of the time charter contract.
