Capital Clean Energy Carriers announced the delivery of the LNG carrier (LNG/C) Archimidis and the dual-fuel medium gas carrier Aristogenis, as well as securing new time charter contracts for three LCO2/LPG carrier vessels and two LNG carriers.
The company received its second LCO2/multigas carrier, the Amadeus (Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, 22,000 m3), in April 2026. Since then, the vessel commenced a 12-month time charter contract, effective from May 21, 2026.
Its sister ship, the Alkimos (Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, 22,000 m3) will be delivered by the shipyard on September 30, 2026, and will have a seven-month time charter contract. Both agreements are subject to final approval.
The Aristogenis (Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, 45,000 m3) commenced a 12-month time charter contract upon its delivery.
The LNG/C Archimidis, delivered in early June, and the Agamenón (HD Hyundai Samho, 174,000 m3), whose delivery is scheduled for June 17, 2026, secured temporary employment through time charter with a major energy company until March 2027.
Upon completion of these charter contracts, both vessels will commence the previously announced long-term charter contracts, originally assigned to the LNG/C Athlos and LNG/C Archon vessels, with fixed periods of five and seven years, respectively, each including an additional five-year option at the charterer's discretion.
Collectively, the five charter contracts are expected to generate approximately USD 87.4 million in gross revenue over their respective company periods.
As a result, CCEC's contractual revenue backlog now stands at approximately USD 3.1 billion, with an average remaining charter contract duration of 6.7 years. Including all charter contract extension options, the firm's order book would increase to nearly USD 4.6 billion with an average duration of 9.8 years.
