In response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Lebanon and in partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP), the CMA CGM Foundation is mobilizing the CMA CGM Group's logistics resources and expertise to transport more than 1,000 tonnes of food assistance to displaced and affected communities across the country.
These essential food rations contribute to ongoing efforts to address the urgent food needs of more than one million displaced people.
This emergency operation, carried out under the Containers of Hope program, further demonstrates the CMA CGM Foundation's commitment to Lebanon. Since the beginning of the Middle East crisis, the Foundation has mobilized support through:
The deployment, together with Caritas, of a PharmaBox, a container converted into a mobile pharmacy, providing access to essential healthcare services for 97,000 people.
In 2026, the CMA CGM Foundation also renewed its support for the Lebanese Red Cross by contributing to the operation of blood transfusion centers and covering fuel costs for ambulances.
This initiative reflects the CMA CGM Foundation's long-standing commitment to Lebanon and to communities affected by crises. The Foundation expresses its solidarity with displaced families and with communities that have remained in their villages in Southern Lebanon despite extremely difficult conditions.
Since 2020, more than 4 million meals have been distributed in Lebanon, including over 700,000 in 2025, through partnerships with local NGOs and community kitchens.
In response to natural disasters and conflicts, the CMA CGM Foundation mobilizes the full range of the Group's industrial assets (containers, vessels, aircraft, warehouses, and trucks) to rapidly meet the needs of affected populations. Through its Containers of Hope program, the Foundation has enabled the maritime transport of more than 850 containers of humanitarian aid since 2020.
