Grain River Cabotage in Argentina Reaches Five-Year High Volume
Argentine grain river cabotage mobilized 806,000 tons in 2025, its highest volume in five years, according to a report by Ana Rubicondi, Bruno Ferrari, Emilce Terré, and Julio Calzada for the Rosario Board of Trade. Operations grew by 18% compared to 2024 via the Paraguay-Paraná Waterway. Entre Ríos led with 718,301 tons (89% of the national volume), while Santa Fe doubled its shipments to 87,504 tons.
