Drone debris caused a fire at one of the oil terminals in the Port of Novorossiysk (Russia) on the Black Sea. Two people were injured as a result of the incident.
According to reports, the events occurred on the morning of Saturday, May 23, when the Fire Department Headquarters of the southern Krasnodar region was alerted to the situation, and firefighters responded to combat the fire that was spreading through several buildings on the premises.
Later, it was reported that as a result of the attack, civilian homes were damaged by falling drone debris, specifically in the port city of Anapa. The unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by the Russian army.
The aforementioned fire occurs amidst the intensification of Ukrainian drone offensives on Russian territory. According to the Kremlin, air defenses shot down 365 of these devices in the area between the Azov and Black Seas, from 7 PM to 9 AM (Moscow time).
It is worth remembering that on Friday, May 22, the Ukrainian army carried out an attack on the Russian oil refinery located in Yaroslavl.
