(1:21 pm AEST) – Royal Caribbean is expanding its 2027/28 Australia summer lineup with the newly refurbished Ovation of the Seas as well as Navigator of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas.
Ovation of the Seas will be homeported in Brisbane with Voyager of the Seas, while Anthem of the Seas will return to Sydney. The ships will offer Australian cruisers short voyages and family holidays across Queensland, the South Pacific and New Zealand.
From October 2027 to April 2028, the three-ship lineup will deliver a combination of two- to 12-night holidays, ranging from weekend getaways to tropical escapes exploring Australia, the fjords of New Zealand, and the sun-soaked South Pacific.
Royal Caribbean also revealed that it would be extending Navigator of the Seas' Singapore season through to October 2027. Navigator of the Seas will offer two- to five-night escapes to Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand as well as a 12-night sailing from Tokyo to Singapore.
Joining Voyager of the Seas in Brisbane, Ovation of the Seas will offer new family cruises ranging from three to eight nights starting in November 2027.
The ship will also offer a 16-night transpacific voyage from Honolulu, Hawaii, to Brisbane, sailing through French Polynesia. There will also be two four-night Whitsundays getaways to Airlie Beach.
Before arriving in Brisbane, Voyager of the Seas will kick off the season with a 25-night adventure from Seattle to Brisbane, via Honolulu in Hawaii, Moorea in Papeete and Raiatea in French Polynesia.
Voyager of the Seas will then be homeporting in Queensland for the season, sailing on cruises ranging from two to 11 nights. The ship will visit places in the South Pacific like Noumea, Lifou, Mystery Island, Port Vila and Luganville.
The ship will also sail on a number of voyages from Sydney. There is a special 10-night Christmas cruise visiting New Zealand towns and cities, like visiting Picton, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, and the breathtaking Milford Sound.
Voyager of the Seas will also sail on a 15-night repositioning from Sydney to Singapore, visiting Airlie Beach, Darwin, Indonesia's Lombok and Celukan Bawang. Then from January to April, Voyager of the Seas will homeport in Singapore, sailing from The Lion City, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
In Asia, the ship will sail from Hong Kong on four- to five-night roundtrip voyages. There is a special Chinese New Year sailing to Ishigaki and Okinawa, Hong Kong. Additional Hong Kong holidays visit Taipei in Taiwan as well as Hue/Danang in Vietnam.
Beginning in late February, Voyager of the Seas sails from Tokyo to coincide with Japan's cherry blossom season. There are four immersive 10-to 12-night itineraries that include the cityscapes of Osaka and Nagasaki as well as the mountain views in Kobe and Mt Fuji.
From October 2027, Anthem of the Seas will sail on three- to 17-night holidays, which include South Pacific sailings and New Zealand voyages. Over the festive season, there is a special nine-night South Pacific Christmas voyage as well a New Zealand New Year escape.
The final repositioning voyage is a 17-night adventure from Honolulu which crosses the Pacific.
