Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) increase Far East Asia to Mexico, West Coast South America and Central America and Caribbean (C1E)

Maersk announced a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) increase for Far East Asia to Mexico, West Coast South America, Central America and Caribbean (C1E) routes effective June 4th 2026. The revised tariff is USD 2,000 per container for all equipment types. The surcharge applies to shipments from Far East Asia (excluding South Korea) and South Korea, with different effective dates: June 4, 2026 for most origins and June 18, 2026 for South Korea and Colombia routes.
