Golden Destinations (GD) has announced the charter of the Star Voyager from StarCruises for a series of sailings from Port Klang during the December 2026 school holiday season.
Available through Golden Destinations' flagship cruise division, GD World Cruises, the sailings will offer Malaysian travelers cruises to Phuket and Krabi, Thailand aboard the Star Voyager.
Michael Goh, president of StarDream Cruises, said: "Golden Destinations has been a valued travel partner over the years, and we are delighted to collaborate on this Star Voyager charter program."
"The Star Voyager charter project marks a significant milestone for GD World Cruises and Golden Destinations Group Berhad," said Mita Lim, managing director of Golden Destinations Group Berhad.
"Through this strategic collaboration with StarCruises, we are creating a unique year-end holiday experience that combines convenience, value and memorable destinations," added Lim.
StarCruises said in a press release that the deployment will feature five departures between December 5 and 22, 2026, offering two- and three-night itineraries designed for families, couples, groups of friends, corporate incentive groups, MICE travelers and holidaymakers.
This collaboration, according to the company, combines Golden Destinations' expertise in curating unique travel experiences with StarCruises' hospitality, entertainment and onboard offerings.

The press release added that aboard Star Voyager, guests can look forward to comfortable accommodation, a wide variety of international dining options, including certified Halal dining at The Lido restaurant, and entertainment.
Bookings are now open through Golden Destinations' nationwide network of travel partners and authorized agents.
