Hamburg welcomed the maiden visit of the Scenic Eclipse II earlier this month, according to a social media update.
The 2023-built ship docked at the HafenCity Cruise Terminal, also marking the first visit of a Scenic Cruises vessel to the German port.
"We're excited to welcome the Scenic Eclipse II to Hamburg for the very first time, further strengthening our city's position as a destination for luxury and expedition cruising," Cruise Gate Hamburg stated.
Offering a ten-night cruise to Northern Europe, the 228-passenger vessel arrived at the port for an overnight call on August 3, 2026.
Sailing between Tilbury and Stockholm, the itinerary included visits to destinations in the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Poland, Finland and Sweden.
In addition to visits to Ostend and Rugen Island, the open-jaw cruise was highlighted by a transit of the Kiel Canal.
The Scenic Eclipse II also visited Copenhagen, Gdynia, Visby and Mariehamn before arriving in Stockholm for an overnight call.
"As she sails on to her next destination, we'd like to thank Scenic Cruises' team and everyone onboard for a memorable first visit to Hamburg," Cruise Gate Hamburg added.
"It was a pleasure to welcome one of the world's leading ultra-luxury discovery yachts to our HafenCity Cruise Terminal and to share our city with her guests and crew members."
The Port of Hamburg is now scheduled to welcome a maiden call from Virgin Voyages' Valiant Lady later this month.
Marking the first visit from the company, the 2,770-passenger ship is set to dock at the Altona Cruise Terminal on August 24, 2026.
"Welcoming new cruise lines not only broadens our offering but also reinforces Hamburg's position as one of Northern Europe's leading cruise destinations," Cruise Gate Hamburg added.
In July, the port also celebrated the maiden call of the Majestic Princess with a plaque exchange held onboard the Princess Cruises vessel.
