The Harmony of the Seas returned to Europe in late May, kicking off a season in the Western Mediterranean following a five-year hiatus.
As part of Royal Caribbean International's summer deployment in the region, the Oasis-class vessel is scheduled to offer a series of seven-night cruises to Spain, Italy and France.
Passengers can board the ship at the ports of Barcelona and Civitavecchia for itineraries that also feature visits to La Spezia, Naples, Palma de Mallorca and Marseille.
With the new Legend of the Seas taking over the operation in the Western Mediterranean in August, the Harmony is scheduled to return to North America in late July.
Sailing from Barcelona, the 2016-built vessel offers a 13-night repositioning voyage to Port Canaveral ahead of a summer season in the Caribbean.
The trans-Atlantic crossing is highlighted by visits to additional destinations in Spain, including Palma de Mallorca, Cartagena, Málaga and Cádiz.
As part of the Royal Amplified refit program, the Harmony of the Seas underwent a significant refurbishment before kicking off its European season.
The drydock took place at the Navantia shipyard in Spain and included enhancements to existing public areas, as well as the creation of new venues.
Among the new features that debuted onboard the 5,558-passenger ship are a Caribbean-inspired pool deck and The Lime & Coconut tropical-themed bar.
Royal Caribbean also added over 100 staterooms to the vessel, which replaced public and technical spaces like the Conference Center and the Wonderland specialty restaurant.
Before this year's season in the Western Mediterranean, the Harmony of the Seas had sailed in Europe for the last time in 2021.
At the time, the vessel offered a complete summer season in the region, offering weeklong cruises to Spain, Italy and France.
Built at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique in France, the 227,625-ton vessel also spent its inaugural season sailing in the Western Mediterranean in 2016.
