The Management Committee of the Central Adriatic Sea Port System Authority ( AdSP, Italy), has appointed Fabrizio Marilli as its new Secretary General. The position will become effective on September 7 of the current year.
The Italian institution's website provided details of Marilli's experience, stating that "he is a technical expert with extensive experience in the Italian port system. For several years he worked as a Port Authority official in Italian ports, and since 2021 he has gained extensive experience in senior management positions in various departments of the North Tyrrhenian Sea Port Authority."
In this regard, the President of the AdSP, Mirco Carloni, stated that the appointment "ensures the continuity of the position of Secretary General of the Port System Authority after the upcoming expiration of the mandate of the current holder, Salvatore Minervino, whom I thank for his work and the transition he is ensuring during this period of change within the Authority.
"Dr. Marilli is highly qualified to face the various challenges inherent in the daily operations of ports and port work, as well as the administrative structure of the Authority. His experience will allow us to continue maintaining the efficiency of our daily operations, which will benefit our development strategies and ongoing projects," Carloni concluded.
