Royal Caribbean recently highlighted its deployment for the 2027 summer season in Southern Europe, which will include seven ships.
The vessels will offer 50 distinct itineraries, sailing to what the company called a series of one-of-a-kind destinations.
According to a social media update, the season is anchored by the return of the new Legend of the Seas to the Western Mediterranean.
After debuting in the region this year, the 250,800-ton vessel is scheduled to offer summer cruises to Spain, Italy and France again in 2027.
The Icon-class ship will be joined by the Mariner of the Seas and the Rhapsody of the Seas in the Western Mediterranean.
Royal Caribbean said the itineraries of the three vessels will include calls to destinations in Italy, including Rome, Florence, Capri and the Amalfi Coast.
The 2027 deployment also features a series of cruises to the Eastern Mediterranean onboard four ships: the Odyssey of the Seas, the Explorer of the Seas, the Rhapsody of the Seas and the Brilliance of the Seas.
Sailing to the Greek Islands, the itineraries in the region feature visits to destinations such as Mykonos and the new Royal Beach Club Santorini, which opened this summer.
Part of Royal Caribbean's private destinations portfolio, the property is available as part of the Ultimate Santorini Day, a full-day shore excursion that also includes roundtrip transportation to and throughout the villages of Oia and Fira.
The company also said it is offering what it called once-in-a-lifetime destinations in Egypt, Portugal and Morocco onboard the Odyssey of the Seas and the Rhapsody of the Seas.
According to Royal Caribbean, the vessels are scheduled to sail to bucket-list ports as part of their 2027 deployments, including Alexandria, Porto and Casablanca.
In addition to the seven ships sailing in Southern and Western Europe, the company's season in Europe also includes the Freedom of the Seas sailing in Northern Europe and the United Kingdom.
As previously reported by Cruise Industry News, the company updated its deployment in the region for 2027 earlier this year.
Increasing its overall European capacity, Royal Caribbean is redeploying both the Freedom, which was initially set to sail from Florida, and the Mariner, which was first scheduled to offer cruises from the United Kingdom.
