The MSC Seashore recently completed its fifth year of service, having been delivered to MSC Cruises on July 26, 2021.
Built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy, the vessel became the third in the company's Seaside-class series.
Slightly larger than its predecessors, the 170,000-ton ship introduced significant design changes, including a two-story nightclub, an enlarged self-service restaurant and new lounges.
The MSC Seashore entered service a few weeks after being delivered, kicking off a maiden season in the Western Mediterranean.
Sailing to Italy, Malta, Spain and France, the vessel offered a series of seven-night cruises to Genoa, Naples, Messina, Valletta, Barcelona and Marseille.
In October 2021, the 4,560-passenger ship crossed the Atlantic for the first time to make its debut in North America.
As part of its first season in the region, the Seashore offered weeklong cruises to the Caribbean and the Bahamas departing from PortMiami.
The itineraries were highlighted by visits to MSC's private island of Ocean Cay, as well as stops in Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and the Dominican Republic.
The vessel later debuted in South America before returning to Europe for additional itineraries in the Mediterranean.
For the past few years, the MSC Seashore has been sailing in North America on a year-round basis, offering a mix of three- to 11-night itineraries out of Port Canaveral.
In late 2027, the ship is scheduled to return to PortMiami for a series of six- to nine-night cruises that sail to the Eastern Caribbean.
After spending the winter in the region, the vessel returns to Europe in March 2028 for a summer season in the Western Mediterranean.
Earlier this year, the MSC Seashore also underwent a refit in the Bahamas, introducing new venues and updated features.
Highlights of the project included the addition of two casual eateries: Red Cactus BBQ & Ribs and Chicken Man.
The grab-and-go restaurants are located on the ship's outdoor decks and serve classic American barbecue choices, as well as chicken tenders and sandwiches.
