Marella Cruises has revealed that Marella Discovery 2 will move to adults-only from winter 2027, with the line turning the ship's existing kids spaces into a new speakeasy, an escape room, a karaoke room and an arts and crafts area.
The line announced this news as part of their winter 2027-2028 programme, which will see the fleet homeport across six European and Caribbean ports.

Marella Voyager and Marella Explorer 2, the latter being the line's existing adults-only ship, will sail Caribbean itineraries, homeporting in Barbados. All voyages go on sale on July 2, 2026.
Chris Hackney, Marella Cruises' CEO, said: "Our winter 2027 programme will focus on the regeneration of Marella Discovery 2 returning as an adults-only ship for a second consecutive winter season. With demand for adults-only cruising continuing to grow, we're investing in four new onboard concepts to enhance the experience even further.
