(10:10 a.m. EDT) — Celestyal Cruises canceled its Arabian Gulf voyages for the winter of 2026-27, due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
Instead, the cruise line will focus on its Eastern Mediterranean program, expanding the season into November 2026 and resuming in March 2027.
The company said all affected guests will be notified by Celestyal or their original travel provider.
"Following the recent geopolitical developments, we have reviewed our program and will be canceling our Arabian Gulf deployment for the upcoming winter season," the company said in a social media update.
"All bookings will be offered a full refund or a future cruise credit for an alternative sailing."
The line will add more sailings across its two-ship fleet during this extended window, with more departures across Greece, Italy, and Croatia. The updated schedule will give guests more options to explore the Mediterranean at the beginning and end of the season.
Celestyal Discovery will offer two additional "Iconic Greek Islands" sailings in November 2026 and four more for the 2027 season.
Meanwhile, Celestyal Journey will operate two more "Heavenly Greece, Italy and Croatia" sailings in March 2027, and two "Idyllic Greece" cruises, also in March 2027.
