Royal Caribbean announced a leadership transition designed to further strengthen its presence in Asia Pacific, including Singapore and Southeast Asia. As part of this evolution, Ben Bouldin, currently President for Greater China, will expand his responsibilities to oversee the broader Asian region and serve as President of China and Managing Director of Asia. This underscores the company's continued commitment to deepening regional alignment and accelerating long-term growth in its key markets.
Bouldin brings over a decade of international leadership experience at Royal Caribbean, a company he joined in 2014, where he held senior positions in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and most recently, led the business in China. In his previous roles, the executive oversaw sales, marketing, and commercial operations, contributing to the brand's growth and strong performance in various markets.
The expansion of Bouldin's responsibilities reinforces Royal Caribbean's commitment to Asia as a key region for growth, leveraging the company's momentum to deliver the best family vacation experiences to guests across the region.
"Asia remains an incredibly important market for us, and we are excited to further strengthen our leadership in the region. Ben's extensive international experience and his track record of driving growth in diverse markets ideally position him to lead the next stage of our expansion in Asia Pacific," stated Angie Stephen, Senior Vice President of Royal Caribbean.
The cruise line reported that it maintains its commitment to Singapore and Southeast Asia, with no changes to its operations, partnerships, or local teams. The company will continue to collaborate closely with its partners throughout the region.
