OneSpaWorld and Azamara announced spa enhancements across the cruise line's fleet as part of their nearly 20-year partnership.
The upgrades will be implemented fleetwide as each vessel enters scheduled dry dock under Azamara's fleet enhancement programme, Azamara Forward. The first installations are scheduled aboard Azamara Pursuit on August 18, followed by Azamara Quest on November 25, with additional ship enhancements planned for 2027. Renovation timelines are expected to range from two to four weeks per vessel.
"OneSpaWorld has been a trusted partner to Azamara for almost 20 years and together we have continually challenged ourselves to elevate the onboard wellness experience," said Claudio Sammartano, head of onboard revenue at Azamara Cruises.
"These enhancements reflect our shared vision of combining innovation, personalisation and world-class service to create experiences that resonate with today's luxury travellers."
Leonard Fluxman, executive chairman and CEO of OneSpaWorld, said: "What makes our partnership with Azamara Cruises so special is the collaborative spirit that drives it. We are always looking for new ways to enhance the spa experience and find opportunities to bring something meaningful and new to our passengers at sea."
Azamara is dedicating additional onboard space to expand THESANCTUM spa across its vessels. The expansion includes two new treatment rooms - one designed for couples and one additional single treatment room. The couples' suite allows passengers travelling together to enjoy massage and body treatments in a private setting, while the additional treatment room enhances capacity.
A new retail space at the entrance of THESANCTUM spa will offer wellness and beauty products from global brands. The space will feature ELEMIS, Kérastase, JOU Chinese herbs for the spa's acupuncture programme, and Good Feet products.
The enhancements include the introduction of medi-spa and IV services to the THESANCTUM menu. Medi-spa treatments will be administered by licensed physicians onboard, including Thermage skin tightening, Restylane dermal fillers, Dysport wrinkle treatments, and microneedling. IV services will offer intravenous therapies including the NAD+ Longevity IV and targeted vitamin and nutrient therapies.
"THESANCTUM has always been about creating a personalised wellness journey at sea and these enhancements allow us to elevate that vision even further," said Martha Brabham, VP design & revitalisation at Azamara Cruises.
"From expanded treatment spaces to curated retail and advanced wellness services, every element has been designed to enrich how our passengers feel, connect, and rejuvenate while sailing with Azamara."
