Aurora Expeditions opened its Northern Hemisphere 2028 season for bookings, with seven new cultural expeditions.
Sailing aboard Douglas Mawson and Sylvia Earle, the season encompasses 16 polar expeditions, six discovery expeditions, as well as the cultural expeditions, visiting 161 ports across the Arctic, Europe and Central America.
These take the company's 35-year heritage of exploration into regions beyond the poles and into some of Europe's cultural and historic coastlines.
"Cultural expeditions broaden the possibilities of expedition travel while remaining true to everything Aurora stands for: small ships, expert interpretation, genuine discovery and meaningful connections with the places we visit," Global Head of Product Justin Ewin said.
"They bring Aurora's pioneering spirit to destinations rich in history, tradition and local character, inviting travellers to look beyond the landmarks and uncover the people and stories that have shaped the place," Ewin said.
"Whether exploring an archaeological site, tasting regional cuisine or meeting local artisans, these voyages are designed to create richer and more memorable connections."
The inaugural programme features cultural expeditions spanning the British Isles, Ireland, the Mediterranean, Europe's Atlantic coastline and Scandinavia.
The 2028 season features 16 polar expeditions, including new itineraries exploring Norway, Svalbard and Greenland.
There is an expanded 2028 discovery expeditions programme featuring six voyages combining Scotland, Iceland, Greenland, Norway and Central America.
A 25% discount is available on selected voyages booked and deposited by October 31.
