Two containers fell from a vessel onto the dock at San Antonio Terminal Internacional (STI) on the afternoon of Sunday, May 10. The concessionaire of the Port of San Antonio activated the corresponding protocols, reporting no injuries. The container ship Cosco Pacific, 348.4 meters long, moored at the dock at 8:20 AM and will remain there until 4 AM on Tuesday, May 12.

Containers Fall Onto Dock at STI

Two containers fell from a vessel onto the dock at San Antonio Terminal Internacional (STI).

The concessionaire of the Port of San Antonio stated that "during this afternoon - Sunday, May 10 - an operational incident occurred, causing two containers to fall at berth 1 of San Antonio Terminal Internacional."

Furthermore, the company affirmed that, as a result of the incident, "the corresponding protocols were activated, and no injuries were reported."

"The corresponding investigations are being carried out to determine the causes of the incident," specified the operator.

During the day, the container ship Cosco Pacific, 348.4 meters long, arrived at the aforementioned berth, mooring at the dock around 8:20 AM. The vessel will remain at the location until 4 AM on Tuesday, May 12.
