Porsche Wins Felicity Ace Lawsuit as Cause of Fire Remains Unproven
A German court dismissed a lawsuit seeking €30 million in damages from Porsche over the February 2022 fire aboard the car carrier Felicity Ace. The Regional Court of Stuttgart found that plaintiffs failed to prove a Porsche Taycan battery caused the blaze that destroyed the vessel and nearly 4,000 vehicles. The cause of the fire remains unproven, though a separate lawsuit continues before the Regional Court of Braunschweig.
