In our continued commitment to providing reliable global services, and in alignment with the TASAC directive issued on 19 May 2026 regarding Local Shipping Agency Fees, Maersk will be implementing a revision to the Destination Documentation Fee (DDF) applicable on shipments from all origins to Tanzania.
This revision will apply to all shipments with a Price Calculation Date (PCD) on or after 15 July 2026.
Please find the updated tariff details below:
| Origin | Destination | Currency code | Charge* | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Origin World |
Destination Tanzania |
Per a Bill of Lading | Currency code USD |
Charge* 38 Per Doc |
* Non-SPOT booking – The above rate is retrieved based on PCD. PCD = Price Calculation Date. For non-FMC, PCD refers to the scheduled departure date of the first water leg at the time of booking confirmation for non-spot bookings. For FMC, PCD is last container gate-in date for non-spot bookings.
* SPOT booking – The above rate is retrieved based on 1st vessel ETD at booking confirmation for Spot bookings.
For your reference, you can always view the latest levels and rate structures directly on our Tariff Lookup page: Tariff Lookup (Current coverage: FMC – Federal Maritime Commission and EEA – European Economic Area regulated countries).
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our local representatives on Maersk.com.
We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing working with you in the future.
