Silverstream has surpassed 160 installations of its air lubrication technology on vessels, marking a significant milestone in the adoption of Energy Efficiency Technologies (EETs) in the global maritime industry.
This achievement follows the June delivery of Grimaldi Group's latest PCTC, the Grande Oriente, and in July of this year, Wallenius Wilhelmsen's PCTC Arctic Tern, bringing the total number of vessels operating with the Silverstream System worldwide to 164.
This increase in the number of installations reflects the shipping industry's commitment to air lubrication, an independently verified technology that provides immediate fuel and emissions reductions.
Since its first commercial deployment, the Silverstream System has been adopted across a wide range of vessel segments, including cruise ships, container ships, LNG carriers, Ro-Ro/RoPax vessels, and PCTCs, demonstrating the scalability and versatility of air lubrication technology across the global fleet.
