The company Servicios Portuarios Reloncaví carried out operational tasks for the handling and unloading of the motor vessel Atacama, belonging to the shipping company Empremar S.A., in Puerto Montt. The operation, corresponding to the vessel's 165th voyage, involved the disembarkation of an approximate volume of 33,000 tons of cargo for the firm Sal Lobos.
The logistical maneuver began with the coordinated deployment of specialized equipment and personnel at the Empormontt maritime terminal to ensure optimal safety conditions during the operation. According to the stevedoring company, the volume of the cargo and the characteristic climatic conditions of the Los Lagos Region represent a demanding technical challenge for the on-site teams.
This joint operation highlights the responsiveness and coordination standards achieved between the shipping agency, the port operator, and the clients within the supply chain in the south of the country.
Through an official statement, the management of Servicios Portuarios Reloncaví expressed its gratitude for the trust placed by its clients Empremar and Sal Lobos for the execution of this contract. Likewise, the port company highlighted the commitment of its workers in the planning and execution stages, reaffirming its objective of maintaining operational efficiency and safety under complex logistical scenarios.
