Routes 152 and 158 Operational Despite Weather Contingency in Ñuble and Bio Bio

The Bosques del Itata Concessionaire Society reported that routes 152 -Autopista del Itata- and 158 remain operational and without traffic interruptions, thanks to the permanent deployment of its emergency, conservation, and road safety teams amidst the intense rainfall recorded today in the Ñuble and Bio Bio regions.

According to the company, specific contingencies associated with the weather conditions were registered during the day, including water accumulation on the roadway, fallen trees, and damage to lateral sections of the road infrastructure. These situations were handled by specialized personnel, allowing both routes to maintain connectivity at all times.

Currently, crews and emergency teams from the Bosques del Itata Concessionaire Society remain deployed, carrying out monitoring, inspection, and safeguarding tasks in different sections of routes 152 and 158, reinforcing vigilance and response capacity to contingencies derived from the frontal system with the aim of protecting people's safety and ensuring the continuity of traffic.

Likewise, the company in charge of the routes called on drivers to drive with caution, respect the signage on the road, maintain a speed appropriate to the weather conditions, and follow the instructions of the personnel deployed on site.
