Virgin Voyages has launched its new program designed to make the logistics of group travel less complicated.
Smaller groups of eight cabins to larger groups of 75 can book a cruise with no deposit required thanks to the cruise line's new Groups program.
Every cabin comes with a Group Bar Tab of up to $200, scaled to voyage length, and fares are locked at booking, according to a statement.
"Group trips aren't really about the destination. They're about the people. Some of life's best moments happen when the people you care about most are all in the same place at the same time, and that's become harder than ever to pull off," said Nathan Rosenberg, chief brand experience, marketing and momentum officer at Virgin Voyages.
"Our ships are designed to bring people together, creating space for the conversations, laughter and shared moments that are often missing from everyday life. The logistics get everyone there. What they remember is how it felt to disconnect from the noise, reconnect with each other and create memories they'll be talking about for years."
For a limited time, groups booked through June 30, 2026, get one free cabin for every 12 booked.
Milestone birthdays, anniversary trips, friendcations, family reunions, bachelorette and bachelor voyages, wedding groups and honeymoon parties are just some of the occasions this can be used for, according to Virgin.
For groups celebrating special occasions, the cruise line can provide in-cabin champagne and florals to be waiting on arrival, or a restaurant can be bought out for the night, complete with live music.
Support from a group dining concierge is also available for coordinating meals for multiple people.
