Flight Centre Travel Group's luxury brand Travel Associates is launching Cruise Boutique in New Zealand in the coming weeks.
It is the first international expansion of Cruise Boutique, which is already established in Australia, and reflects the strong demand for cruising, Kelly de Graaf, head of luxury brands at Flight Centre Travel Group New Zealand, said."Cruising has really regained momentum in recent years and we are seeing more travellers embrace it as part of their overall travel plans," de Graaf said.
"As choice continues to grow, specialist advice is more important than ever in helping customers navigate their options and plan a truly one-of-a-kind trip," she said.
Simon Matthews will head up the Cruise Boutique operation in New Zealand.
Matthews, who has worked onboard cruise ships, joins from Cruiseabout New Zealand.
He is joined by Flight Centre Travel Group New Zealand's Tania Paull.
Travel Associates is now actively recruiting experienced cruise consultants.
