Swan Hellenic is significantly expanding its 2027 Asia-Pacific season, increasing from five to 10 cultural expedition voyages following the success of its inaugural regional operations in 2026.
The cruise line has introduced its 'Asia Unlocked' promotional offer, providing complimentary balcony stateroom upgrades and Gold wi-fi packages for new bookings completed by November 9, 2026.
The expanded programme features two new New Zealand voyages at the season's beginning and enhanced Japan exploration, including two new itineraries featuring calls to Busan in the Republic of Korea.
All voyages operate aboard the 152-passenger SH Minerva, spanning from March 8 through October 12, 2027. Itineraries range from 10 to 13 nights, with pricing starting from £6,500 per person.
The voyages centre on three primary themes: anthropology, exploring cultures from Polynesian to Japanese traditions; nature, featuring biodiverse marine environments and endemic wildlife; and history, particularly Second World War sites across the Asia-Pacific region.
Destinations include New Zealand's fjords and Maori cultural sites, Vanuatu's Champagne Beach, Solomon Islands' Melanesian cultures and wartime locations, Papua New Guinea's Rabaul volcanic base, Indonesia's Raja Ampat coral triangle, Philippines' colonial heritage sites, and Japan's volcanic islands and cultural landmarks.
"We're proud to be more than doubling the number of our cultural expedition voyages in the Asia-Pacific for 2027," said Swan Hellenic CCO Mario Bounas. "Following the strong success of last year's decision to take SH Minerva into this region for the first time, we've been determined to meet and surprise the unexpectedly strong demand."
The itineraries are designed to allow passengers to combine voyages for extended regional exploration, with expert-led cultural and natural history programming throughout each sailing.
