Princess Cruises' 2028 Alaska program features eight ships including the new Star Princess on glacier-rich voyages to wildlife-filled ports with cruise-tours and Princess Wilderness Lodge stays near national parks.
These include Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge, Mount McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge, Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge and Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge.
There will be 185 departures across 14 itineraries with departures from Seattle; Vancouver, BC; Whittier, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Among the 16 destinations are Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway, with scenic cruising through Glacier Bay National Park (85 visits), Hubbard Glacier, College Fjord and Endicott Arm/Dawes Glacier.
"Voyage of the Glaciers" itineraries sailing between Whittier and Vancouver remain the hallmark. These one-way cruises showcase some of Alaska's most spectacular scenery and visit iconic ports such as Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway, with many itineraries featuring two glacier-viewing experiences and opportunities to combine the cruise with a land tour.
A wide variety of roundtrip Inside Passage voyages depart from Seattle, Vancouver, San Francisco and Los Angeles, offering convenience and ideal for first-time Alaska travelers.
Princess cruise-tours combine a cruise with multiple nights on land. Visits to Glacier Bay National Park and Denali National Park are offered on most itineraries with stays at Princess-owned wilderness lodges located near Denali, Kenai Fjords and Wrangell-St. Elias national parks.
The company's "Direct-to-the-Wilderness" rail service between Whittier and the Denali area operates on custom glass-domed railcars with access to open-air viewing platforms.
