HafenCity Cruise Terminal receives first simultaneous double cruise call

The berths of Cruise Gate Hamburg in Germany simultaneously welcomed the cruise ships MS Amadea, belonging to the German shipping company Phoenix Reisen, and MS Europa, from Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, also a company from that country, to complete the first double call at the HafenCity Cruise Terminal. "This is a milestone for the terminal and a reflection of Hamburg's growing appeal as a cruise destination," stated CGH. Authorities noted that both passenger ships regularly visit the Port of Hamburg. "Welcoming their guests to HafenCity is a great pleasure. The terminal offers a strong first welcome to the destination, and we are proud to be that gateway to one of Europe's most vibrant port cities," added Cruise Gate Hamburg.
