CGU launches Informa.BR to simplify access to public information

The PortosRio Ombudsman's Office informs that as of 06/30/2026, the Comptroller General of the Union (CGU) launched the Transparency and Access to Information Platform – Informa.BR.

The new Platform was created to facilitate citizens' access to public information from the Federal Government. On it, citizens will be able to search for public information more simply and quickly, already available in official government sources, such as the Transparency Portal, the Open Data Portal, and the LAI Search, which allows consulting already answered LAI requests.

If they do not find what they are looking for, they can make an access to information request (LAI request) through the new platform. At the link: https://informabr.cgu.gov.br/

Attention: Fala.BR will remain the official channel for registering and processing ombudsman manifestations. The change will only occur in relation to access to information requests (LAI), whose registration and monitoring will now be carried out by Informa.BR.

If you used Fala.BR, you don't need to worry. Your data, your ongoing requests, and your history have been automatically and securely migrated to Informa.BR.

In summary: Citizens will use Informa.BR to register LAI requests, by logging in with Gov.br; Ombudsman manifestations will continue to be registered through Fala.BR.
