Cemex Aggregates Terminal Expansion Inaugurated at Port Tampa Bay
Cemex US and Port Tampa Bay inaugurated the expansion of the aggregates terminal, with a USD 29 million investment from Cemex and a USD 7 million grant from the Florida Department of Transportation. The system has the capacity to move 5,000 tons of material per hour, and is expected to handle approximately 1.5 million tons of aggregates annually. The terminal transports aggregates from Newfoundland, Canada, strengthening regional supply chains.
