MTPE and FEMAPOR Agree on Working Group to Modernize Port Labor Law

The Vice Minister of Labor, Tomás Alejandro Flores Noriega, met with representatives of FEMAPOR to address labor issues in the port sector. It was agreed to promote the formation of a tripartite working group to review the situation and promote the updating of the Port Labor Law. The General Director of Labor, Cecilia García, indicated that coordination would be made with the National Council of Labor and Employment Promotion to submit the proposal to the new Congress.
