Brazil: Expansion of Northern Railway Network Advances in Mato Grosso

Brazil delivered the first phase of the Northern Network extension with 160 kilometers of railway track and a new terminal in Dom Aquino (MT), developed by Rumo with an investment of USD 971.1 million. The project, integrated into the New PAC, mobilized 65 companies and 5,000 professionals, and will connect Mato Grosso's production to the Port of Santos. The terminal will have the capacity to transport 10 million tons of grain annually.
