Port of Chancay: U.S. Embassy Delivers Scanners to Strengthen Security
The United States Ambassador to Peru, Bernie Navarro, officially delivered two non-intrusive cargo scanners to the Port of Chancay, donated by the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) to Sunat. The equipment will strengthen the capacity to detect illicit goods, streamline trade, and ensure transparency in port operations. The cooperation includes training Peruvian personnel to independently operate these systems.
