The National Port Authority (APN), an entity attached to the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC), and the Supervisory Agency for Investment in Public Transport Infrastructure (Ositrán) signed an important inter-institutional collaboration agreement aimed at strengthening the surveillance and control of operations in the terminals of the Port of Callao.
Thanks to this strategic alliance, Ositrán will implement a continuous video monitoring system (24/7) within the framework of its legal attributions. To this end, the institution will be responsible for the installation, operation, and technical maintenance of the equipment.
For its part, the APN will facilitate the use of the technological and logistical infrastructure of its Control, Communications, and Emergency Response Center (CCCRE), consolidating an articulated work scheme that will optimize the monitoring of infrastructure and port services in the country's main port.
With these actions, the APN reaffirms its commitment to continue modernizing the National Port System through the adoption of advanced technological tools and coordinated work between state entities.
